Resurfaces & Smooths Uneven Texture
Lactic Acid and other exfoliating acids help loosen the connections between accumulated dead skin cells, encouraging their removal and improving roughness, flakiness and uneven surface texture.
Brightens Dull & Lacklustre Skin
By removing excess surface buildup, the peel helps improve the way light reflects from the skin, revealing a fresher, brighter and more radiant-looking complexion.
Supports a More Even Skin Tone
Regular exfoliation can help improve the appearance of superficial pigmentation, including some post-breakout marks and uneven tone associated with sun exposure.
Helps Reduce Congestion
Removing accumulated dead skin cells can help reduce the surface buildup that contributes to blocked pores, particularly in combination or congestion-prone skin.
Hydrates While Exfoliating
Gluconolactone, Glycerin and Lactic Acid have moisture-binding properties, helping maintain hydration while the formula exfoliates.
Softens Fine Lines
Exfoliation and improved hydration can help reduce the appearance of fine surface lines, particularly those associated with dehydration and uneven texture.
Supports Skin Clarity & Radiance
A combination of AHAs, PHA and botanical fruit extracts helps improve overall smoothness and clarity with consistent use.
Controlled Exfoliation
The Amphoteric Hydroxy Complex combines Lactic Acid with an amino acid to help buffer the formulation, supporting a more controlled exfoliating effect than an unbuffered acid of comparable concentration.

14% AHA/PHA Complex — Multi-Action Exfoliation
A combination of Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs) and Polyhydroxy Acids (PHAs) designed to exfoliate the skin's surface while maintaining hydration.
AHAs primarily help loosen the connections between dead skin cells, while PHAs provide gentler surface exfoliation alongside humectant benefits.
The 14% figure refers to the manufacturer's overall acid complex rather than 14% free Lactic Acid. The product's finished pH and individual acid concentrations aren't disclosed.
Amphoteric Hydroxy Complex (AHC) — Buffered Lactic Acid Exfoliation
A combination of L-Lactic Acid and Arginine, an amino acid.
Lactic Acid is an AHA that helps break down the connections between accumulated dead skin cells, encouraging exfoliation and improving roughness, dullness and uneven texture.
Arginine helps buffer the formula, influencing its acidity and potentially improving skin tolerance.
O COSMEDICS describes this system as providing controlled, time-release exfoliation.
Gluconolactone (PHA) — Gentle Exfoliation & Hydration
A Polyhydroxy Acid with a relatively large molecular structure.
Gluconolactone helps encourage surface exfoliation while also attracting and retaining water, making it particularly interesting for skin experiencing dehydration alongside dullness or rough texture.
PHAs are often better tolerated than stronger AHAs, although they can still cause irritation depending on concentration, pH and skin condition.
Multi-Fruit AHA Complex — Brightening & Surface Renewal
A botanical blend containing Bilberry, Sugar Cane, Sugar Maple, Orange and Lemon extracts.
These extracts contain naturally occurring organic acids and antioxidant compounds associated with skin conditioning and exfoliation.
Included to complement the primary acid complex and support a brighter, smoother-looking complexion.
Glycerin — Hydration & Skin Comfort
A humectant that attracts and retains water within the outer layers of the skin.
Helps maintain hydration and reduce the feeling of dryness associated with exfoliation.
Salicylic Acid — Additional Exfoliating Support
A Beta Hydroxy Acid (BHA) commonly used to address clogged pores and congestion.
Salicylic Acid is oil-soluble, allowing it to interact with sebum-rich follicles.

Use at night only, 1–3 times per week, depending on your skin's condition and tolerance.
Cleanse your skin thoroughly and pat dry.
Apply 1 pump in a thin, even layer to clean, dry skin on the face, neck and décolletage.
Gently massage until absorbed.
Do not rinse off. This is a leave-on exfoliating treatment.
Follow with your other serums and moisturiser.
Although the manufacturer recommends 2–4 nights weekly, I'd suggest starting once weekly if you're new to exfoliating acids, then gradually increasing as tolerated.
Avoid applying to broken, irritated, sunburnt or significantly barrier-impaired skin.
Be cautious when combining with retinoids, other exfoliating acids, scrubs or strong corrective treatments. Alternating these products on different nights is often a better starting point.

Exfoliation helps remove accumulated dead skin cells, excess oil and surface impurities that can contribute to dullness, rough texture and congestion. By encouraging the natural shedding of skin cells, it helps smooth and soften the skin, refine texture, brighten the complexion and keep pores clearer.
Regular, appropriate exfoliation can also help your other skincare products work more effectively by reducing surface buildup. O COSMEDICS exfoliants are designed to provide effective resurfacing while supporting skin hydration and barrier function.
The key is balance! Exfoliating too frequently or aggressively can disrupt the skin barrier, leading to dryness, sensitivity and inflammation. The right exfoliant and frequency will depend on your individual skin type, condition and tolerance.

Professional Australian-made skincare focused on skin health, corrective care and long-term skin function.
O COSMEDICS combines skin science with functional active ingredients to create high-performance skincare designed to address a wide range of skin concerns while supporting the health of the skin barrier.
Skin First Philosophy
O COSMEDICS follows the principles of Corneotherapy, a skin treatment philosophy centred around protecting, repairing and maintaining the skin's outermost layer — the stratum corneum.
Rather than taking an aggressive approach to skincare, the range focuses on working with the skin's natural biology and supporting healthy skin function. Active ingredients and corrective treatments can then be introduced according to what the skin needs and can tolerate.
Functional Actives
O COSMEDICS products are formulated with functional doses of active ingredients selected for their ability to support specific skin functions and concerns.
These actives are used across the range to target concerns including pigmentation, acne, congestion, dehydration, inflammation, redness, loss of firmness and visible signs of ageing.
Science & Skin Health
O COSMEDICS takes a skin-health approach that considers more than just the visible appearance of the skin.
Its formulations are designed around key factors that influence skin ageing and function, including collagen breakdown, inflammation, glycation, photo damage and oxidation.
The range also incorporates biomimetic ingredients — ingredients designed to work in harmony with the skin's natural structure and processes — alongside O COSMEDICS' V8 Peptide Complex®.
Australian Made & Woman Owned
O COSMEDICS is proudly Australian made, with its products manufactured at its Sydney-based facility.
The brand was developed in Australia with the unique skin challenges of the Australian environment and climate in mind. O COSMEDICS was founded by Australian skin and beauty therapist Maria Enna-Cocciolone.
Professional Skincare
O COSMEDICS is used by professional skin therapists and clinics in Australia and internationally.
The range includes everyday skincare as well as more targeted corrective products, allowing routines to be tailored to different skin types, concerns and stages of skin health.
The goal is simple: support healthy skin, address individual concerns and achieve visible results without losing sight of the skin's long-term health.
