The Oxygenating Microbiome Mask is applied over the face, neck and décolletage and remains in place for around 30–45 minutes while it sets and works its magic.

Initially, the mask feels cool, wet and comfortable, with gentle pressure across the skin. As it sets, it gradually becomes firmer and tighter, creating a cocoon-like feeling over the face, neck and chest.

Because the mask covers a large area and becomes quite firm, some people may find the sensation slightly claustrophobic or enclosed. This is completely normal and something I’ll explain before we begin so you know what to expect.

You can breathe normally throughout the treatment, and I’ll check in with you while the mask is on. If you feel uncomfortable at any point, just let me know and we can adjust or remove it.

While your mask is working, you can choose between a relaxing arm and hand massage or a soothing foot and leg massage — the perfect time to completely switch off.

The treatment isn't about forcing fluid out of the skin — it's about supporting the body's existing circulatory and lymphatic processes through controlled changes in pressure.

Following the treatment, you may notice a temporary pink or flushed appearance to the skin, with small superficial capillaries becoming more visible.

This is sometimes referred to as a “plasmatic effect.” It occurs as the controlled compression and release of the treatment influences microcirculation and fluid movement within the superficial tissues.

As circulation increases, blood flow closer to the surface of the skin can become more apparent, making tiny capillaries temporarily easier to see. The result can be a fresh, flushed appearance and increased radiance immediately following treatment.

This effect is temporary and should gradually settle as circulation returns to its normal resting state. The intensity can vary depending on your individual skin, vascularity and sensitivity.
